My grandmother was Martha (Mattie) Weedin, daughter of Daniel Weedin and Mary (Kennedy). Do you, by chance, have any information on Mary Kennedy, wife of Daniel Weedin? Also, could you tell me if Daniel was adopted by the Weedin family? My mother, Mary Elizabeth (Law) Kane, daughter of Mattie Weedin Law, had made that statement several times. I talked with a Mr. and Mrs. Weedin, who lived a few miles west of Waverly, MO, and I think they also stated that Daniel was adopted. (I had nothing with me to make notes on). Those Weedins had a son who owned the Weedin Gas and Oil station in Waverly - that I had the good fortune of stopping for gas while heading for Lexington. Your reply would be greatly appreciated.

My mom is Barbara May Weedin. Her dad was William Weedin who died in the late 1960s. William was married and divorced from Hannah May Rhodes and they had my mom. William later married Annie unknown surname. Annie was Canadian. Together they had Garth Daphne Heather and Robin Weedin. William was a Seattle Motorcycle Officer. Would LOVE some more info. I was born in Terrel, TX on July 17, 1947 to Douglas Rayond and Cleota Marie McKinley Weedin of North Dakota.
